I am an equal oppertunity listener... When I heard the BS was going away I was sad but thought, "Dont knock Lex n Tarry you dunno anything about them." After TWO days of listening to their bologna I've decided that this is enough. I guess if they're not going anywhere, so your ratings might go down. Many of us Rock-O-Holics are very furrious about this change... Espically for the fact that there IS NOT FRICKIN MUSIC!! Morning shows are supposed to pump you up, get you ready for your day... blah blah.. .this one puts EVERYONE to sleep... It's about time you as Clearchannel, realize that LEX&TERRY SUCK.. I say drop them...Within the 1st 10 minutes of hearing these guys I had to sit thru some monotone chatter that resembled a lame Dr.Drew rip off and then was informed of a farting contest this Friday??? Come on guys is that what a morning show is about??? Hearing someone fart??? let alone organize a contest around it, I for one am a little past that....It's all stuff that's been done before...The biggest killer is that these guys don't have a clue about what's going on in Tampa bay...Good by local radio if these guys stay...They say we can change the channel....I say we unite and put them back where they belong - A trailer park with dirt roads on a Texas oil field....This is our 98 rock ... \m/ |

It's simple, don't listen don't buy the products they advertise, the only way to make the executives at clearchannel listen is to hit them in wallets. once they take a hit in their ad revenues they'll realize they need a new show. |

without a doubt: TAKE THEM OFF THEY REALLY S U C K BAD I would say that even if I just listened to them not even knowing the buckethead show ever existed. |

The ratings really can't get worse nor the revenue. We're at the bottom of the FM morning shows in the market. That's why the change was made. Just like in TV great shows you may love get yanked. It happens everyday and we all get affected by it. Those of you that compare it to Loveline or Mj & BJ from back in the day is NOT bad thing. Loveline is still the highest ranking show on on station allllll these years later. And MJ & BJ we also a great product. Morning shows have to broad and draw from a large audience. **** is not number 1 because every rocker lsitenes to his show. Every radio station in the market is losing listeners to his show. That's just how it was when he was on our station. I know a lot of you don't comprehend this kind of stuff but I wouldn't expect you to becasue you don't work in the biz. You just know what YOU like. I'm sure there are plenty of aspects of your job I wouldn't understand too....

Well i guess riggie is right they can't get any lower, so they don't care if we listen and it doesn't matter. Only thing that sucks is we'll have to wait 2 years or however long it takes to run out their contracts to get a new show. Is there any way to get them to at least play some music once in a while? it's bad enough they're syndicated so will have no idea what's going on locally, but to not have their idiocy broken by some ROCK! then that's too much to bear. At least Fisher & Boy play some music once in a while. |
